The Enniscorthy riverside trail follows the western bank of the River Slaney on an out-and-back trail. It's flat, the surface is good and there are no stiles so this is a good choice for most people.
Look out for the badgers, otters, frogs, swans, geese, goldfinch, thrush and heron who live along here. The river supports Atlantic salmon, twaite shad and trout.
