Stretching over 200 miles (320 km), the Kingfisher Trail winds its way through the landscapes of the border counties of Fermanagh, Leitrim, Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan, incorporating sections of the Shannon Navigation, Shannon-Erne Waterway, and the Erne System.
This section runs alongside the Ballinamore-Ballyconnell Canal on the tranquil Golf Links Road, offering a scenic link into Ballinamore. The Ballinamore-Ballyconnell Canal was built to link the rivers Shannon and Erne.
