Two boats are based at this station of the RNLI - a rubber dinghy for use near the coast, and a larger boat for use at sea. You can take a look inside the station and visit the small associated shop for free. People are happy about a donation - because the RNLI is dependent on donations, the British state apparently does not contribute anything to safety on its coasts.
