Hiking

The west ridge of Fleetwith Pike, by far the best approach to this Wainwright. The path leads straight up from the car park at Gatesgarth Farm and is a delightful well graded path throughout. There are always stunning views back over Buttermere. Towards the top there are some simple scrambles amongst rocks and heather and before you know it, you are on the summit with its awesome views.

Hiking

Great views from this Wainwright's Pike. But very hard and long descent. If going up to Fleethwith Pike again, I may try it as a look, going up the zig-zag descent and descent via the path between Fleetwith Pike and Haystack.
