Castle Stalker is an absolutely breathtaking place to visit in Scotland. Built on a tidal islet on Loch Laich around 1388, the castle is one of the best-preserved medieval tower houses in Scotland.
You may recognise the castle from the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail which was filmed here.

This is how you imagine old Scottish castles, from the shore you have a very good view and can take a good break there. Right by the road there is also a bus stop, from which you can get back to Glencoe.
