After you have enjoyed the fresh air and views, you can easily find local amenities, including The Brushmaker's Arms pub, right in Upham. The trail is generally accessible throughout the year, so you can plan your visit without concerns about specific closures or permits.
As you hike, keep an eye out for the Green Hill Summit, marked by a trig point, which offers extensive panoramic views across patchwork fields and dense forests. A section of the route also follows the historic Monarch's Way, adding a touch of historical context to your walk as you cross Roughay Airfield.
