    Hiking

While visiting the pyramid structure we were lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins off the West coast of the island. I’m not sure if this is a common occurrence there but we stuck around for ages to watch them play and it was spectacular!

The daymark on Emmanuel Head is a visual aid for boats navigating these waters. It's also a great target for a coastal run around the island. Look out for dolphins and seals out to sea.

You will experience varied terrain, from expansive sand dunes to sandy beaches and vast mudflats, all while gaining a gentle 74 feet (22 metres) in elevation. Keep an eye out for the iconic Lindisfarne Castle, dramatically perched on its volcanic rock, as you complete the route in an estimated 1 hour and 54 minutes.
