Top quality bridleway. Combination of double track and wide trail. Hard pack surface. Few little gifts of horse manure along the way and at the North end it gets a bit loose.

Quite tough as a climb, but far from impossible with the right gearing. The upper part of the lane is superb.

From the north a very sandy under surface with chunky loose gravel broken up by hooves, climbs up past Titters Hill on the right and onto a lovely, level, bridleway with great views and the occasional friendly sports cow rider.
The gate to the right once you meet the top is a decent connection to Elberton/Littleton but it passes through active cow fields which isn't ideal. Cos of the poo.
