In the MacGillycuddy's Reeks range in south west Ireland, this is a fantastic summit to bag and has incredible views. The classic route is from the west, where you can park just north of Lough Acoose. You can turn your ascent into as long or as short an adventure as you like, depending on how much of the horseshoe you do. The going is tough, with sheer drops, narrow ridges and rocky trails. The views are absolutely phenomenal though.
